Facebook data, once created, is unlikely to remain in the control of US entities (let alone Facebook)—and the country best positioned to exploit it is China, given its investments in AI, and its creation of extensive systems for vacuuming up its own citizens' data, writes Aziz Huq, professor of law at The University of Chicago Law School.
