New iPhone gives Geraldine man access to former user's life

When Geraldine man Glen Cottle forked out $1300 for a new iPhone for his partner on Wednesday, he thought he was buying a new, unused device. However, that does not seem to be the case - after turning the phone on - Cottle discovered he had unrestricted access to some of the most personal details of someone else's life. "It came up with someone else's name, flight details, bank details, medical records and even some voice messages from the person's daughter. I don't know how that could happen," Cottle said.
