Jesse Ventura's $1.8-million defamation award denied in his 'American Sniper' book case

Ex-professional wrestler Jesse Ventura won't be awarded the $1.8-million judgment a jury decided to give him in 2014 as the result of a defamation case against the estate of Chris Kyle, who had written disparagingly about a person resembling Ventura in his memoir "American Sniper."

    Here are the FACTS in the Ventura/Kyle case, and more,
    from Leslie Davis, the go to guy on all things Ventura.
    In 2002, Davis wrote the Ventura expose’ book, “Always
    Cheat” that exposed Ventura and his cheating supporters.
    FACTS:
    1. Chris Kyle lied about hitting Ventura in a bar. There
    was no fight. Kyle and his ghost writer just made up that
    story to sell books.
    2. Kyle’s book (American Sniper) sales soared after Kyle
    said Ventura was “Scruff Face” in his book. All evidence
    from Kyle’s publisher, writers, etc. proved that it was the
    mention of Ventura as “Scruff Face” that caused book sales
    to soar. It was total bullshit by Kyle but it sold many books.
    3. Jesse Ventura was NEVER a Navy SEAL. He took the
    initial BUDS training, did well, and that was it. He was then
    put on a UDT (Underwater Demolition Team) and served most
    of his military time in the Far East whore houses.
    4. Ventura was NEVER in Vietnam.
    5. Ventura was NEVER in combat.
    6. Ventura lied, bribed, and bullied, to become Minnesota Governor.
    7. All the media ignored the lies and bribes and covered up for
    Ventura because he was good copy. Especially Brian Bakst of the
    Associated Press (AP) and Randy Furst of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
    They constantly called him a SEAL when they knew he was not. They
    are both the worst people in the media business.
    8. Ventura’s wife Terry lied on the stand at the Kyle trial when she said
    her husband never disparaged other military personnel.
    9. Ventura’s son Tyrel lies when he calls himself Tyrel Ventura when his
    name is Tyrel Janos. Why do the Ventura’s hate the Janos name?
    10. After Ventura left office he lied in court in St. Paul, Minnesota when
    he told Judge Nathanson, a judge he appointed when Governor, that I
    threatened to damage his car and he got a restraining order against me.
    11. Ventura and Kyle are both bullshit braggarts but Chris Kyle put his
    life on the line for us and was awarded multiple silver and bronze star medals.
    12. When Kyle was killed I told Ventura, and the court, how Ventura could
    resolve the matter and restore his SEAL relationship. But they didn’t listen
    and now Ventra got what he deserves, NOTHING, except more legal bills.
