Scientists rediscover a 10th century Anglo-Saxon treatment for the superbug, Staphylococcus aureus

We are rapidly running out of antibiotics that are able to control and effectively treat infections with the superbug, Staphylococcus aureus. Scientists at the University of Nottingham have now rediscovered - and validated - a natural recipe for controlling S. aureus taken from a 10th century Anglo-Saxon leechbook.
