Motorhead legend 'Fast' Eddie Clarke dies aged 67 after pneumonia battle

The rock star, who founded the Brit heavy metal band, passed away in hospital yesterday. The former Motorhead guitarist had been battling pneumonia. A statement posted on the band's official Facebook page said: "We are devastated to pass on the news we only just heard ourselves earlier tonight. "Edward Allan Clarke - or as we all know and love him Fast Eddie Clarke - passed away peacefully yesterday.
