James Franco Says Sexual Misconduct Allegations Are “Not Accurate”

Following his Golden Globes win for The Disaster Artist on Sunday, James Franco was accused on social media of sexual misconduct. After Franco wore a pin pledging support to the Time’s Up movement at the awards show, actress Violet Paley alleged that he once pushed her head down toward his exposed penis in a car. She also claimed that Franco invited her friend, then 17, to his hotel room. Paley said she received an “overdue, annoyed, convenient phone ‘apology’” from Franco.
