Justice Department Deploying 500 Election Monitors in 28 States Tuesday

More than 500 Justice Department election monitors will be active in 67 jurisdictions in 28 states on Election Day to enforce of federal voting rights laws. One of those locations will be Milwaukee, Wis., but there's a twist. According to a FOX 6 report, although the federal workers will be in charge of upholding federal election laws, Tuesday’s election is the first presidential election in more than 50 years without federal power to mandate observers inside polling stations.
