Jury awards $1.6 million to man who slipped and fell in St. Helens Safeway

A jury unanimously rewarded an Oregon man after he slipped and fell at a Safeway in St. Helens. According to court papers on December 9, 2014, Christopher Armstrong-Stevenson was shopping at the store when he slipped and fell. “I fell in the store on liquid soap and broke my femur,” Armstrong-Stevenson said. Armstrong-Stevenson adds after rehabilitation and a rod in his leg, he was slowly able to learn how to walk again.
