I must admit that the last couple of years, I’ve gone from despair to depression (not clinical) with the complete lack of urgency from governments around the world, in taking serious action to combat climate change. As the evidence mounts that we have only a few short years to take action, which would give human beings a fighting chance of avoiding cataclysmic change to our planet, nothing much is done.

Vegan Activist James Aspey Running For Parliament

Vegan activist James Aspey will be running for Parliament with the Animal Justice Party (AJP) in the seat of Heathcote in the upcoming New South Wales state election in Australia. Aspey told Plant Based News that he 'wants the world to be a more peaceful place' for both animals and humans. He is one of 50 Lower House, and 18 Upper House candidates the AJP has running for Parliament. Every candidate is vegan and dedicated to animal protection. The Australian political party already has two MPs elected- Mark Pearson in NSW and Andy Meddick in VIC.

Truck drivers messing with Tesla owner turns into great ad for Summon feature

Tesla owner and Youtuber Marques Brownlee came back to his Model S in a parking lot to find his vehicle partially blocked on each side by large trucks. It gave Brownlee a rare opportunity to use Tesla’s Summon feature and nullify what appeared to be the truckers’ attempt to annoy him. Under its current form, Tesla’s Summon feature is probably one of the least used features enable by Tesla’s Autopilot system.
